After many years of experience working in design and tech in Milwaukee, we saw companies solving the wrong problem over and over again. We want to help you avoid the failures we’ve seen. So we formed MB Collab.
MB Collab supports companies during the design of products and services. If you’re going to invest time and money into building a solution, we want to help you make sure you’re solving the right problem. If you’re feeling stuck, we want to help you get unstuck.
Our Methodology
We use tools developed by innovation experts like IDEO and Google Ventures that have been used all over the world by startups such as Uber, Slack, and Nest.
Using our scalable methods will help you move faster to solve problems, generate new ideas and validate ideas with real customers. This process allows any team or startup to go from idea to learning without investing a lot of time and money.

I am a seasoned UX designer and creative problem solver. I enjoy continuous learning, taking on new challenges, and storytelling.
I believe in the power of multidisciplinary teams, diversity, inclusion, and collaboration. Complex problems aren’t solved in silos—they’re solved by diverse, cross-functional teams.
I have Business Innovation and Advanced Design Thinking certifications from IDEO and UX certification from Nielsen Norman Group.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family outdoors on the shore of Lake Michigan. I’m also very involved in the local tech community, and I enjoy interior design. I’m obsessed with anything midcentury modern. I’m a collector by nature, so I love filling my midcentury ranch with vintage treasures!

Irina Becker

I am a Milwaukee based researcher and strategist. I believe applying design thinking helps brands innovate and solve problems faster.
I have a passion for customer experience and simplicity. I enjoy helping brands grow by better understanding their customers and improving customer experiences.
I have Business Innovation and Advanced Design Thinking certifications from IDEO and UX Management certification from Nielsen Norman Group.
Outside of work I love trying new things and getting myself out of the comfort zone. I like to stay active whether it’s hiking, yoga, salsa dancing, or roller skating.
